NEWS: Artists Line Up For Bristol Takeover

A multi-genre showcase of Bristol’s most exciting DJS, bands and artists will take over Bristol Beacon this November for this free, one day festival

Bursting with unmissable talent, Bristol’s best bands, DJs, musicians, labels and future stars will be appearing at this years Bristol Takeover at the Bristol Beacon Foyer on Saturday 19th November. 

Following the success of the 2021 Takeover which saw the musical talents of Griz-o, GROVE and Getdown Services attracting mass crowds to party, this free one-day mini festival will be a celebration of the city’s incredible emerging musical talent as well as the venue’s long-term place within Bristol’s music scene. 

With the festival kicking off at 2PM, music fans can expect to be wowed by the likes of Club Djembe, Mercy’s Cartel, The Pleasure Dome and more. Bristol-based party and record label Club Djembe showcase the very best in global club music, supplying feel good beats for dancers who love to get down. Known for throwing infectious and energetic parties, Club Djembe have become synonymous with the high energy of Bristol’s DJ scene.

Indie R&B singer, Mercy’s Cartel, will take to the stage at this year’s anticipated Takeover. Crafting a unique sound that outshines her contemporaries, Essex born Mercy is known for her poetic undertones and belting harmonies. Bringing 100% pure punk energy, Bristol’s The Pleasure Dome are also on the bill and crowds can expect energy and attitude as they burst into life with full force. The Bristol-based punk-trio formed in 2019 and have since had extensive radio airplay on BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music and numerous regional BBC stations across the UK. 

Others to look for are Concrete Jungyals x TFNE B2B EMMY, D. Dent, KIER, Kutamba, NEKO, Purpl and Yam & Banana Records; with more artists yet to be announced soon.
