NEWS: Trinity Presents returns with new programme

Trinity have announced new shows for 2023 and are hoping for their biggest year yet with an eclectic line up!

Last year saw the largest ever line up from their in-house music programme, Trinity Presents. This saw the venue bouncing back after the pandemic to host eight shows throughout the year across all spaces in the Trinity Centre including five sell outs.

Trinity Presents is also their way of platforming Bristol’s wealth of musical talent with 84% of artists programmed being local talent. 

The first three gigs scheduled are an eclectic mix of aural delights. Tickets are now on sale so don’t hesitate!

Dundundun

Dundundun + Marla Kether (19 Mar)

Bristol sextet Dundundun combine African and Latin rhythms with jazz & electronica to create uplifting soundscapes and deep hypnotic grooves. Supports comes from DJ Marla Kether

Donae’o

Donae’o + Yemz (24 Mar)

London-based producer, songwriter, rapper, and vocalist Donae’o has been an early adopter of almost all crucial urban movements coming out of the capital; from garage to grime to the UK funky-inspired house that continues to influence today’s charts.

Kabaka Pyramid

Kabaka Pyramid (07 Apr)

A conscious revolutionary lyricist with a signature musical style; Kabaka Pyramid blends the power, energy, and melody of reggae with the lyricism of hip hop.

A key pillar of the reggae revival movement, Kabaka Pyramid carved his way into the Jamaican reggae scene with Rebel Music in 2011 and recently released his new album The Kalling which has already been nominated for a Grammy.
