TREAD’s unique production masterclasses will see some of the UKs leading artists providing the next wave of producers with the skills and connections needed to support their careers.
With the chance to meet and learn from the producers behind British record producer and DJ, D Double E and Nia Archives, TREAD is set to enrich and engage aspiring producers and musicians from all disciplines and backgrounds. Hosted by the likes of Bristol MCs and industry experts, Tom Koast, Ben Chilton, and A for Alpha, students will be joined by leading artists from UK Funky, Garage and Drum & Bass aficionado Dismantle and genre defying, experimental electronica powerhouse Aya, to one of the artists keeping the legacy of UK dance music alive, Frazer Ray.
The event kickstarting the series will take place on Tuesday 26 September with Dismantle. Having been immersed in UK club culture for more than a decade, DJing with Bristol pioneer DJ Die and collaborating with legendary MCs D Double, Inja and Emz – the masterclass will be hosted by Bristol-based MC and founder of the Bristol-based record label Durkle Disco, Tom Koast.

Drawing inspiration from her creative upbringing in West Yorkshire, Aya’s event will be hosted by one of the heads of Modular institution, Elevator Sound, and co-runner of Paradisco Nights, Ben Chilton.
